Fortifying the homebrew reserves for a long winter

With the cold winter weather settling in, the taste buds yearn for the darker and stronger stuff. Along with the dip in the temps, theres been a dip in my home brew reserves. The only solution – brew more beer!

Black Winter
Style – Dark Saison
Size – 6 gallons
Est O.G. – 1.060
Est. ABV – 6.4

5# Pilsner
3# Munich
1# CaraWheat
1# Special B
2# table sugar

.5oz Magnum @ 60 minutes
.5oz Liberty @ 15 minutes
.5oz Liberty @ 1 minute

mash @ 147
Ferment w/ your favorite Saison Strain – wyeast Belgian saison, farmhouse, or biere de garde.
